Maybe black and white wedding photography is just really all about one thing. Romance.

Isn't that really the destination? Any photographer who doesn't focus on that feeling needs to be politely exchanged for one that does.

Not too artistic and not too formally posed. A nice mix of the two. The recipe for good wedding portrait photography is adaptability and right moments produces a portfolio that shines.

Maybe that's why it's often so difficult to do well.

All wedding portrait photographers will hone their skills to perfect their craft.

Because weddings, with all their romantic association can also be highly stressful occasions. The keyword is to be prepared.

Just think about all the details and important stuff to make sure the whole wedding flows and everything is right, and everyone is happy. Youch.

So, you're interested in black and white wedding photography? That's good... a perfect start!

Because black and white photography holds time and history in place somewhat better than color photography does. (It does, doesn't it?)

Black and white really brings out the occasion, preserves the moments, simplifies the perspective. It's essentially a part of all wedding portrait photography. After all, this is one of the most important events of life!

Anyway just imagine a super cool wedding celebration that's going on around you. Lots of movement. People laughing. Champagne glasses clinking. Passion, enthusiasm, exuberance...
